Out with the old and in with the new!
The client wanted their old solar panels replaced with 14 new Trina 450-watt panels but this time around, they also wanted to build on their energy savings and install a Sungrow Inverter, or more specifically, a Sungrow Hybrid SH5-ORS 5kW Inverter!
Not only do these inverters boast a high conversion efficiency, which maximises energy output from the solar panels, reducing energy loss and improving overall system performance, but it also supports various solar panel configurations, making it adaptable to different setups.
Most importantly however, the Sungrow SH5-ORS Inverter offers backup power, ensuring a continuous power supply during outages when connected with a battery storage system which enhances energy security and reliability for our client.
Update the Solar System while repairing the roof !
This client wanted to repair and repaint their roof and decided to update their solar system at the same time.
Solar Power Gladstone removed the old solar panels including the old SMA inverter and replaced it with a 6.6kw System with 15 x Jinko 440w panels and a Fronius Primo Gen 24 – 5kW Inverter.
The Primo GEN 24 is known for its high efficiency (up to 98%), ensuring you maximise the energy you generate and most of all, it allows for the integration of solar panels and battery storage, giving flexibility to store excess solar energy for later use, especially during peak demand or grid outages.
Upgraded Inverter
This existing solar system was installed in 2011 and during a recent maintenance inspection it was found that one of the 1500kVa inverters wasn’t working, but the rest of the system was still working efficiently.
The decision was made to remove both inverters and install a new Growatt 3000 TL-X inverter, this improved the existing systems efficiency and allowed the Customer to monitor their systems performance, ensuring that the system is generating the maximum amount of energy possible.
What does the Inverter do?
A solar systems inverter is the heart of the system. This is where the DC power from the solar panels is converted into usable AC power.
Commercial Solar Solutions
An installation of 90 Jinko 440 panels, and 3 Fronius Symo Gen 24 plus 10KW inverters for this commercial Customer.
This Customer is harnessing the power of the sun to keep their operational energy costs down and their craft beers brewing and chilled.
Upgrades to keep up with efficiency and technology
The original system was over 12 years old and the Customer was keen to keep his original Solar Feed Tariff of 0.44 cents.
The old system was removed and a new 4.95kw system was installed. Comprising of 11, 450W Trina PV panels and a Growatt 5000 TL-XH Hybrid inverter, the Customer was able to keep his old tariff with the benefit of the new technology.
The Growatt 5000TL-XH inverter solution is designed specifically for residential use, the inverter is compact with outstanding efficiency and provides great performance. The Growatt 5000 TL-XH Hybrid inverter is compatible to extend to a battery storage system later.
